Our New Hand Made Tilting Gripper Frames

These frames are handmade with care and precision from local ash trees, and trimed with Cumberland County apple wood. They rotate 360 degrees, and tilt to your comfort. The gripper strips hold your rug pattern taughtly with out the need for pins or tacks. You can move your pattern around simply and easily by lifting it. This way you can work on various areas of your mat with out any fuss.They are an excellent choice for starting rug hookers or the expert because they are practical, and portable.

We have a large and ever changing variety of recycled wool pieces. They vary in weight and size, approx 6" by 12". They are washed dried and ready to use and only cost $2.00 C   $1.50US
We have a large variety of recycled wool cloth, washed, dried and ready to use in many textures and colours. They vary in weight and size, approximately 1/2 lb bundles. Lots of solids, tweeds, and plaids.

5 1/2 inch Scissors, excellent for trimming primitives, and for folding wool accordion style and cutting. They are very sharp, and comfortable to hold.

Hand Dyed Natural Sheeps Wool
Great way to put texture in your rugs. I often use it for hair, ocean, sky, flowers, sheep, etc.. I hook it just as I would wool cloth, by sort of pulling it into strips. It is beautiful and fun to work with.
